Pumice - The pumice stone, on the contrary to the others natural stones, is not compact, but it is made of fibreglass and cellulas.
These cellulas cause, that the pumice stone, despite its relative density of ρ = 2.37, floates in the water. It has white colour, whereas the more quality of the vulcanic pumice stone has light or dark brown hue and its surface is rough. Its best use is in reduction of corneous skin. |
